Writing Articles is the best way I know of to generate
traffic to your Internet venture. One of the greatest
challenges faced by an Internet marketer is the ability to
be able to deliver relevant quality information to your
target market and also have the ability to deliver quality
articles regularly.
I know what a lot of you are saying just about now - "Great
- the only thing I was consistently good at while at school
was failing English". Luckily if youre reading this you
have access to the Internet, which is the greatest
collection of information in the world - information on
every subject you can think of.
I suggest typing the subject you would like to tell your
subscribers about into your favorite search engine, read
some of the articles and start jotting down notes. If you
find you start writing just keep on writing, don't worry
about pronunciation, grammar or spelling just get as many
ideas on paper as you can.
If you find you are beginning to have a mental block, leave
it, go for a walk or do something different for a while.
You will probably find while you're having a chang more
ideas will start to flow. In no time you will find you have
quite a bit of material to work with.
Read through your material again. Now you will be able
to move words and sentences around, you will be able to
move sentences into paragraphs. Try to keep your paragraphs
as short as you can. I'm sure you will be surprised how
quickly you can have an interesting article for your
subscribers.
The secret to success on the Internet is not just having a
Web site. (A web site is only one of many tools any Internet
Marketer has in his toolbox) your web site is hopefully
your interesting reception room, where you transform your
visitors into subscribers - subscribers waiting patiently
for the next exciting words of wisdom from you, their
mentor!
Once you have your regular subscribers it's then 'you' as
their mentor, can sell to them. A word of warning here
though don't try to sell them anything you do not firmly
believe in, or you may find yourself quickly running out of
subscribers. Its much more economical and a lot easier to
look after the subscribers and customers you already have
than to constantly find new ones.
If you intend marketing on the Internet don't under
estimate the power of the mouse. If you upset your
subscribers, customers or web site visitors - one click and
they're gone :-)
